Welcome to East Durham Archers

We are a friendly and welcoming club. At present, our members range from ten to over seventy years old and we currently are close to a 50/50 male/female membership, 20% of our members are junior archers.

East Durham Archers is a not-for-profit, volunteer managed, community archery club. This Olympic sport is suitable for people of most ages and abilities.

East Durham Archers club's mission is to make this great sport available to our community whilst keeping costs as affordable as we can.

We are affiliated to ArcheryGB, the governing body of our sport in Great Britain, the DNAA, (Durham & Northumberland Archery Association) and the NCAS (Northern Counties Archery Society).

In the main, we shoot the style of archery that you might have seen at the Olympics, but on club nights you’ll see some of our members shoot traditional English Longbow and also the hi-tech Compound bow, too.

We have modern, well-equipped facilities at the excellent Dene Academy, Peterlee, and are wheelchair and disability friendly.
